5 Ways to Wear the Wrap Mala

But there is one very-versatile style that often stands out above the rest: our wrap mala. Made with knotted loop closures, a guru bead + a detachable mini tassel, this fully adjustable piece can be styled as a necklace, bracelet + so much more. It can be worn in so many ways, in fact, that you could sport the same piece each day of the week and style it differently every time. Here are five of our favorite ways to wear it:

1. Short Necklace
Loosely wrap the mala around your neck twice, then slip the guru bead through the first loop + attach the tassel to the last loop.

2. Long Lariat
Pull the guru bead thru the last loop, sliding the loop closer to your neck while gentle pulling the guru bead down. Attach the tassel to the guru bead loop.

3. Short Lariat
Hook the guru bead through the first loop + attach the tassel to the last loop, letting your wrap mala hang like a traditional mala necklace.

4. Wrap Bracelet
Holding the guru bead between your thumb and forefinger, wrap the mala loosely around your wrist 4-5 times, then pull the guru bead through your loop of choice. Use the tassel to attach the last loop to your bracelet.

5. Double Wrap Bracelet
Starting with two unhooked wraps, hook the guru bead of mala No. 1 through the last loop of mala No. 2, making one long string of beads. Holding the guru bead from mala No. 2 between your thumb and forefinger, wrap the mala loosely around your wrist as many times as it will go. Pull the second guru bead through your loop of choice, then use both tassels to attach the last loop to your bracelet.
