The Moda Mala Summer Collection Is Here, and It’s Launching at Yoga Journal Live San Diego!

It seems like just yesterday that we were picking out the designs, creating the pieces and introducing you to our very first Mala and Mantra collection. While we’re still thrilled to carry our lovely debut Mantra Collection, we’ve got some really great news to share: Our newest collection, the Moda Mala Summer Collection, is finally here. And trust us, both your summer wardrobe and your meditation practice are going to love it!

We’re giving eco-conscious, fashion-loving and mindful individuals just like you a chance to show off their style this summer with our latest collection of eco-friendly necklaces and bracelets made from sustainable beads sourced from the Philippines. Perfect as a boho-chic beach accessory or a fun alternative to your everyday meditation tool, the Moda Mala Collection (moda is Spanish for fashion) is designed with the intention of supporting sustainability and, as always, spreading inner peace and positive messages.

Just like our debut collection, each of these mala bead–inspired pieces are handmade and hand-knotted by our women’s co-op in the Philippines, where we help provide a group of female artisans with fair wages, a sustainable income and a safe work environment. The collection also features beads like rosewood, blackwood and whitewood—all sustainably sourced from the Philippines—as well as natural coconut shell and glass beads from Japan.

Each piece includes a beautiful tassel or Hamsa hand charm, along with a dedicated mantra you can repeat while practicing yoga or meditation. To add a pop of fun summer color, this 18-style line also comes in a range of bright hues, from avocado green and marigold to neon pink and orchid.

We’re thrilled to not only be introducing our Moda Mala collection to you, but also to the amazing yoga community at the upcoming Yoga Journal Live event in San Diego. From July 11–13, we’re going to be showing off our summer capsule collection to the more than 1,500 yogis who are gathering in San Diego to practice yoga and shop the latest offerings available to the yoga community. So if you’ll be attending the event this weekend, be sure to stop by Table 2 at The Marketplace to check out the new collection for yourself! And if you can’t make it, don’t worry: You can soon find the lovely lineup in a spa or retailer near you. Just check our Stockists page for more info about where the line is sold.

As always, we hope you love this collection as much as we love making it for you!

Namaste,

JPC
