Our Moonstone Capsule Collection was inspired by the magic of the moon. Moonstone artifacts have been admired and prized since ancient times for their association with divine lunar energy. I felt it would be fitting to drop this collection on the first day of the Lunar New Year.
I selected three different types of moonstone: Rainbow Moonstone, Peach Moonstone, and Multi-Colored Moonstone to use in this collection along with sustainable wood beads from the Philippines: Rosewood, Grey wood, and Robles wood.
Named after its silver-white hue, which resembles the shimmer and brilliance of the moon, moonstone allows us to accept the natural flow of life with all of its ups and downs. On our path to enlightenment, we honor this divine flow as it welcomes us into a new year, every year. Moonstone itself is also associated with the lunar cycle whose energy is drawn from the moon itself.
The Lunar New Year, also known as the Chinese New Year, will usher in the Year of the Rabbit, the fourth and luckiest of all 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac. The Rabbit is expected to bring hope, peace, and prosperity in 2023 along with a slower pace that encourages moments of calm reflection. In Chinese culture, rabbits are also associated with the moon, so to honor the Year of the Rabbit, the first new moon, and the lunar calendar, we’re showcasing moonstone this month.
Moonstone is an empowering stone known as the “Goddess Stone” which sharpens your intuition, opens your heart, and enhances your ability to nurture and love. As a stone of new beginnings, it eases meditation and your journey inward, helps us to uncover hidden truths about ourselves, and aids in achieving enlightenment.
Based on the holistic properties and energies of this awe inspiring gemstone I wrote this mantra:
MALA: Moonstone: Intention = divine femininity and inner growth
MANTRA: be hope. be love. be enlightened.
