Celebrating Fair Sustainable Fashion

At Mala and Mantra we have always believed and supported FAIR SUSTAINABLE FASHION, in fact it is one of the reasons we started our brand, to support resource challenged women artisans through providing sustainable income and a safe working environment.

Today we honor all of our amazing women artisans in the Philippines who #madeyourjewelry and celebrate the important work Fashion Revolution has done to create awareness of how apparel and accessories are sourced, produced, and purchased.  We would like to thank Fashion Revolution for addressing these social and economical issues.

Fashion Revolution @fash_rev  is a not-for-profit global movement with teams in over 100 countries around the world. Fashion Revolution campaigns for systemic reform of the fashion industry with a focus on the need for greater transparency in the fashion supply chain. Fashion Revolution has designated the anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster in Bangladesh as Fashion Revolution Day. In 2014-2018, millions of people around the world called on brands to answer the question Who Made My Clothes? The hashtag #WhoMadeMyClothes became the no.1 global trend on Twitter.[1][2][3]
