Founded in 2013 by retail industry veteran Judith Comption, Mala and Mantra is a Carlsbad, California-based brand that makes mindful, meaningful mala bead jewelry and M-powers the world through wellness. Each and every M+M piece is handcrafted by a female artisan from our Fair Trade cooperative in the Philippines, who we provide with sustainable wages, a safe working environment, and the ability to support themselves, their families + their communities. And because we care about the environment, too, our jewelry is made using all-natural, semi-precious gemstone beads and sustainable woods sourced locally from the Philippines.
